Wynn Macau, the first Las Vegas-style casino resort in Macau, opened near midnight on 5 September 2006 with its logo emblazoned in fireworks across its facade. The resort, owned by Wynn Resort Macau, features 600 rooms, 100,000 square feet of gaming facilities, 6 restaurants, 28,000 square feet of retail space, a spa and entertainment facilities. Wong and Ouyang (HK) Ltd. was responsible for the architectural, structural and building service consultant services for the project. Phase II is scheduled to open next year.
