Derrick Lee is the Director of (Mainland China) within Wong & Ouyang and has more than 15 years of experience in architecture and management of various types of projects. After completing his studies in Melbourne, Derrick worked in Australia and Singapore before joining Wong & Ouyang in 2011.
Derrick has been involved in the project management and design development for large scale mixed-use developments including Hangzhou Kerry Centre Mixed-use Development that comprised of the 5-star Shangri-La Hotel, office tower, retail mall and luxury lake view apartments, the New World Qingdao Mixed-use Development, which includes high-end villas and apartment towers, the hotel and its luxury villas under the Rosewood hotel group; and Tishman’s Crystal Plaza comprising of a mixed use office, retail and residential development at Qiantan China.
Most recently he is overseeing the design and project management for the Hoi An South Hotel & Resort Development in Vietnam, Hang Lung Hangzhou mixed-use development and Kerry Hangzhou Urban Star mixed-use development. Derrick is conversant with working on projects in different countries and adopting the regulations and construction needs of these countries.
